Main Directions of Scientific Investigations

The main function of RL SPH according to its technical competence is conducting research work in the area of materials science, viz.: creating scientific basis for obtaining thermodiffusion coatings of the func­tional purpose and development of the unified low-waste technology of their applying in a production environment; elaborating scientific grounds and technological principles of obtaining pulverous satu­rating media from oxides of saturating elements with employment of the out-of-furnace metallothermy method; intensification of thermodiffusion treatment processes from pulverous media; elaborating mul­tilayer coatings and functional layers by method of integrated processing and employing thermodiffu­sion saturation and vacuum ion-plasmous technologies; developing integrated hardening technologies with application of the diffusional alloyed weld materials on the metal wastes basis.

 

Provided Services

Surface hardening by method of thermodiffusion treatment of machine parts, machining attach­ments and tools in pulverous saturating compounds (boronizing, nitriding, nitrocarburizing, alitizing, zincing, etc.); powder composition supply and deploying the thermodiffusion hardening technology in production works of the customer; deployment of the powder composition production for the cus­tomer manufacturing needs with provision of scientific and technical backing of the thermodiffusion hardening technological process; elaborating design and production documentation on the thermodif­fusion metal-ware treatment.

RL SPH sustains scientific ties with the Institute of Precision Mechanics (Poland), "JIM of NAS of Bela­rus", "PhTI of NAS of Belarus", LLC "PMI engineering", RUE "Polimag", etc.

We fulfilled economic agreements and contracts on request of JSC "MAZ", JSC "BMZ - BMK-Holding Managing Company", JSC "Atlant", JSC "Novogrudok Works of Gas-Fittings", RUE "Gomsel’mash", JSC "METZ n. a. Kozlov B. I.", JSC "Ceramics", JSC "MMZ n. a. Vavilov S. I. - the BelOMO holding managing company" and others.

RL SPH disposes a modern technical base, including: the induction installation for thermal treatment of the specimens and articles; the following equipment for thermal treatment of the specimens and ar­ticles: heat-treatment furnace SNOL etc., drying ovens; the equipment for performing corrosion tests; the high-temperature metallographic microscope Leica DM 2500P.
