Main Directions of Scientific Investigations

Experimental investigations of technical state of ground and underground constructions; research of the influence of various factors on engineering constructions; investigations of the state of artificial constructions aimed at a pass of heavy-loaded, non-normative and large-sized vehicles; theoretical study of the work of elements of artificial constructions with the application of modern software; theoretical and experimental study of the work of elements of bridge constructions with the use of models and in the field.


Provided Services

Diagnostics, certification and examination (planned, before commissioning, pre-design) of bridges, viaducts, tunnels, passes, culverts and other artificial structures on roads and railways; study the techni­cal and operational status of various engineering structures; geodetic monitoring of elements and de­signs of engineering structures; development of recommendations for the safe operation of engineering structures.


Major Achievements

RL BES has scientific relations with SE "Belarusian Road Research Institute" (BeldorNII), "Institute of Powder Metallurgy of NAS of Belarus", "Institute of Nature Management of NAS of Belarus".

RL BES has implemented contracts for RUE "Minskavtodor-Center", RUE "Vitebskavtodor", RUE "Grod­noavtodor", RUE "Mogilevavtodor", RUE "Gomelavtodor", RUE "Brestavtodor", JSC "Minskvetroproject", National Library of Belarus, etc.

There were developed reinforced elastic composite materials and technology of their application with increased resistance to deformation in the joints on bridges and overpasses. The composition and preparation method of repairing concrete with additive OG has been developed. Method of evaluation of the existing stress-strain state of the spans of the bridge structures considering damage of structures was developed.
