Main Directions of Scientific Investigations

Calculations of strength, stiffness and stability of elements of buildings and constructions; the vibra­tion insulation computation and design for buildings, constructions, machines, measuring instruments, precision machine tools, medical equipment, and other objects; modelling reinforced polymer compos­ites with prescribed physical mechanical properties; quality assessment and predictive modeling of the technical systems resource.

Services in the area of scientific and technological research and development are rendered on con­tractual terms in the indicated directions of scientific investigations.

 

Major Achievements

The Laboratory staff participated in designing, evaluation and implementation of the oscillation dampers for protection against vibration of the buildings and constructions located within the technical zone of the low-depth sections of the Minsk metropolitan rail.

The designed polyurethane vibration absorbers employed in construction of the vibration insu­lation of the modern movie theater "Belarus" in Minsk, the concert hall in Svoboda square in Minsk; operational-resuscitation unit with in-patient clinic and the medical diagnostic building in Engels Str. 27 and 25 in Minsk.

RIL ASM sustains scientific ties with the Institute of Applied Physics, Physical Technical Institute, the Joint Institute of Mechanic Engineering of NAS Belarus; JSC "Gazprom. Transgaz. Belarus"; the Engi­neering and Technical Center; LSC "Avangard" town Safonovo, Russia, etc.

RIL ASM owns modern computers for mathematical calculations and simulating research objects.
