Main Directions of Scientific Investigations

Thermal synthesis of composite materials with macroheterogeneous structure for the manufacture of friction pairs; electrochemical surface treatment for the restoration of worn-out parts and the forma­tion of coatings with a given structure.

Study of the structure and properties formation of metals and alloys under non-equilibrium solidifica­tion conditions, including high-intensity processes.

Mathematical simulation of crystallization and solidification processes in the melt under thermody­namic nonequilibrium conditions.

 

Provided Services

The manufacture of friction pairs made of composite materials with macroheterogeneous structure for severe working conditions; deposition of wear-resistant coatings.

 

Major Achievements

RIL ITP has a close collaboration with Joint Institute of Mechanical Engineering and Physical-Technical Institute of NAS of Belarus.

Developments of RIL ITP are introduced in Minsk HPS-3, HPS-4, HPS-5, as well in Heat Power Stations of Lukoml, Novopolotsk, Mozyr, in JSC "Borisov works "Avtohydrousilitel", LLC "Eurobrick", etc.

RIL ITP has modern technical facilities.
