Main Directions of Scientific Investigations

Quality evaluation of the road traffic and the effectiveness of measures on traffic safety augmentation; optimizing and management of the road traffic; development of rational transport systems and the safe­ty auditing; road traffic accident analysis and simulation; retrofit of working process of engine uprating for improving environmental and economic parameters.

 

Provided Services

RC RT realizes the following variety of work in the area of road traffic and highway transportation op­eration: full-sized (experimental) and theoretical investigations in the network of streets; development of complex schemes of road traffic organization; working out the design and estimate documentation for creation and improving the automated management system of road traffic; working out the design and estimate documentation on the level of architectural and/or construction project for building and re­modeling the street-traffic control objects, communication lines, street lighting; working out the design and estimate documentation for information provision of the drivers on the traffic conditions.

 

Major Achievements

RC RT staff participated in developing the general plans and complex transportation lay-outs for the following cities: Mogilev, Vitebsk, Brest, Grodno, Gomel, Baranovichi, Bobruisk, Pinsk, Mozyr, Molo­dyechno, Polotsk, Novopolotsk and others. That includes the projects developing for traffic signalization in the residential area "Kazimirovka" in Mogilev; investigating the traffic conditions and developing the transport service in the interception of Nezavisimosty Avenue and Kalinovsky street in Minsk; working out the traffic management in micro-district "Folyush" in Grodno. Investigating the traffic conditions, substantiation, developing a modernized automated management system of the road traffic (including project work) on Aerodromnaya street; engineering the street-traffic control objects and implementation of organizing means of adaptable traffic management technology in Baranovichi; installation of the traf­fic conditions control devices "Arena"; projecting, organizing means of adaptable traffic management technology in Pinsk; engineering, delivery, and bringing into service the software and hardware of cen­tral operational post of modernized traffic management system in Minsk, etc.
