Major Achievements

RC OMT maintains scientific relations with the Norwegian University of science and technology (Trondheim, Norway), the University of St. Andrews (UK), Technical University of Vienna (Austria), Univer­sity of Neuchâtel (Switzerland), Institute of General physics RAS (Moscow, Russia), Institute of inorganic chemistry SB RAS (Novosibirsk, Russia), Moscow State University n.a. M. V. Lomonosov (Moscow, Russia), Kazan Federal University ( Kazan, Russia), Belarusian State University, Institute of physics, NAS of Belarus, SPC on Material Science of NAS of Belarus, STC "LEMT" BelOMO, JSC "Peleng", JSC "Solar LS", etc.

Femtosecond Yb:KY(WO4)2 laser with diode pumping has been developed and mastered its produc­tion. Generator of harmonics for femtosecond radiation in the spectral range of 1 μm (CJSC "Solar LS"), high-frequency solid-state laser q-switched at a wavelength of 1 μm (CJSC "Solar LS"), eye-safe solid-state microchip laser with diode pumping (STC "LEMT") are developed as well.

Unique setting to enhance microchipped pulses of the femtosecond laser Developed.

Developments made in RC OMT are implemented at JSC "Peleng", JSC "Solar LS", STC "LEMT" BelOMO, in the educational process at Instrument-making faculty of the Belarusian National Technical University.

RC OMT has modern technical facilities including equipment for study of the spectroscopic character­istics of laser materials and determination of laser radiation parameters.
