Technology and tooling for the forming by means of the mechanical rolling of the flange from tubular products

Application: production of the casing for transmission of back axle of lorry MAZ.

Advantages: minimal metal losses in the waste with significant energy savings and the achievement of desired physical and mechanical properties of the product.

Key features: the idea of development is to create effective technological schemes of forming flang­es from the tubular billet with minimum subsequent machining of the part. This is achieved in that the deformation is performed under conditions that prohibit the loss of stability of deformable parts of the workpiece with a minimum thickness of its walls.
