Gas sensor semiconductor on substrates made of nanoporous anodic aluminum oxide

Application: detection and measurement of the concentration of pollutants in the ambient atmos­pheric environment, early fire detection.

Advantages: low power consumption and cost; possibility to detect a wide range of gases with sen­sor manufacturing on the basis of large number of sensors.

Key features: detectable gases are hydrogen, carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxides, hydrocarbons and others; low power consumption – about 0.1 mW.
