Arterial stents: peripheral and coronary, matrix

Application: implementation of endovascular interventions for the treatment of arterial stenoses.

Advantages: construction of the stent has a low elastic recoil – less than 3 %; radiopacity; optimal radial stiffness; flexibility and penetrability artery crimped portions (90° or less); hydrodynamic compati­bility; using materials that do not cause chemical and allergic reactions in contact with human’s vascular tissue; stent is thin, inert, able to change shape and fully complies with anthropometric and physiological capabilities of human.

Key features: stent is a metallic mesh cylinder. It is made of a metal tube by laser cutting. The design and materials of the stent provide the flexibility of the stent that ensures smooth and easy entry to the point of the expansion of the artery.
