Dynamic and technology problems of mechanics of constructions and continues environment on behalf of Gorshkova A.A. is a annual international event.

From 18 to 22 of March 2019 the XXV International Symposium "Dynamic and technology problems of mechanics of constructions and continues environment" on behalf of Gorshkova A.A. was held.

Symposium organizers: Moscow Aviation Institute, Research Institute of Mechanics of Moscow State University named after MV Lomonosov, Research Institute of Mechanics of NNU named after N.I. Lobachevsky.

Skachek Pavel Dmitrievich a graduate student of the department "Mathematical Methods in Construction" attended the symposium.

Skachek P.D. made a presentation "The stress state of the support node of a freely supported beam" in collaboration with Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor S.V. Bosakov.

The following issues were raised during the presentation:

- the influence of the size of the contact zone on the maximum bending moment;

- the influence of local deformations in the beam on the size of the contact zone;

- the dependence of the contact zone on the indicator of flexibility, or the ratio of the stiffness of the supported structures;

- comparison of the obtained calculation results obtained by the proposed method with the theoretical results Aleksandrova V.M.

During the symposium Skachek P.D. got acquainted with the methods of solving contact problems, methods of modeling the object and subject of study, methods of programming, processing and visualization of the data obtained using computer algebra systems Matlab and Maple. The Matlab complex allows you to perform complex of mathematical calculations, including the construction of graphs, diagrams and image processing. One of the main advantages of Matlab is the ability to create a standalone application using the Matlab language, which can be integrated and introduced into the educational process both for the purpose of learning and for the control of students' knowledge. At the same time, complex of mathematical calculations can be performed in one of the programming languages, for example C++, Fortran etc. by creating the library that is connected to Matlab, and the interface part in Matlab.

Skachek P.D. plans to use the knowledgies gained at the symposium for research in the preparation of his theses, and also to create an independent software application for further use at the level of the university and design institutes on the base of the theses.

The participants of the symposium honored the memory of Anatoly Gerasimovich Gorshkov at the memorial plaque on the territory of the MAI.
