RIIT Offers Training for Foreign Specialists

The Belarusian National Technical University offers cooperation in the field of training and professional development of academic staff and specialists of foreign educational institutions.

The BNTU is a modern educational, scientific, and innovative complex comprising 18 faculties and over 100 departments, 60 branches of departments at industrial enterprises, Pilot Plant "Polytechnic", and S&T Park "Polytechnic". The university is the basic organization of the Commonwealth of Independent States for higher engineering education.

Republican Institute of Innovative Technologies (RIIT), a BNTU structural unit, organizes training, refresher courses, and internships in more than 50 areas and specialities. RIIT summarizes the best practices of industry and carries out training in the fields of knowledge demanded by the economy.

The Institute sees its innovative activities in the development of original internship programs for Belarusian and foreign specialists. Training is student-centered and interactive, i.e. applying modern scientific and industrial potential of leading industrial, educational, and scientific institutions of the Republic of Belarus. RIIT develops internship programs for virtually all aspects of engineering and technological specializations with regard to concrete needs. RIIT graduates obtain accredited certificates.

RIIT has organized and implemented a number of internships for foreign specialists in the following areas:

  • Computer modeling of intracylinder processes in heat engines (for university lecturers from Poland, October 2012 - July 2013);
  • Technology and equipment for the disposal of environmentally hazardous waste (for lecturers of Vyatka State University, Russia, October 2013);
  • The use of plasma and laser processes in industry (for lecturers from Lithuanian Energy Institute, Lithuania, March 2014);
  • Elastic and plastic deformation of the hollow rods at thermal power loads (for university professors from Iraq, June 2014 - December 2014);
  • Obtaining modified forms of silver in nano- and microstates and the study of their properties (for lecturers from L. N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, Kazakhstan, October 2014);
  • Introduction to the knowledge-intensive technologies of the treatment of materials on the basis of metals (for lecturers from the universities of Russia, November 2014);
  • Development of methods of continuous improvement of the company performance on the basis of systematic approach and strategic process management (for lecturers from M. Kh. Dulaty Taraz State University, Kazakhstan, February 2015);
  • Setting up mechanical engineering enterprises and creating jobs on the basis of lean production with the use of modern information technologies (for lecturers from Kalashnikov Izhevsk State Technical University, Russia, November 2015);
  • Design and technological support for mechanical engineering production; computer adjustment of CNC machines (for lecturers from Kalashnikov Izhevsk State Technical University, Russia, November 2015);
  • The use of composite shapes for reinforcing concrete structures (for lecturers from universities of Iran, February 2016 - July 2016);
  • Integrated modeling of various modes of power plant operation (for lecturers from the universities of Iran, April 2016 - December 2016);
  • Modern engineering technologies and management training for young and eminent specialists (professionals from the city of Chongqing, China, September 2016).
